    Dear Carlos,
I’m sure you never dreamed of this happening when first beginning this journey with Molly and McGee. I so enjoyed every minute. Again, TY for all you did.

How I wish I could attend. Still having amazing, not so common after all, barn owl experiences. Here in MI we’ve not had barnies since late 70’s early 80’s, (poison + loss of habitat). But recently inquired at a local nature center if there had been any recent sightings, mentioning the M&M experience, (Hugs Donna for asking me to Mod, especially during classroom interviews), The Naturalist’s eyes lit up and I was taken to their prep room and shown a March 2015 find of a just fledged juvenile’s body = Sad, But! that juvenile, (no evidence of poison or trauma), did not fly here from two states away! You know what that means? ! An adult pair is trying to establish a successful nest Here !!! Very special experience as I was permitted to examine details up close. My other experience was seeing Luna, the barnie imported to educate at Blandford Raptor Rescue, where I saw up close all of the exciting behaviors we observed in and around the Royal’s Owl Box. My heart will be there with You all, even if I cannot attend. Hugz & RO-dentia!
