I believe that Chris Adams has come up with another amazing design! This faux cross-stitched pattern could actually be cross-stitched or used as a pattern for embroidery! Another wonderful artistic creation for Owl Box history.

I love that Carlos and Chris so thoughtfully made this new design available on items for all seasons.

The “Three French Hens” idea is so clever, too, although they look more like Rhode Island Red’s (Gallus gallus domesticus) to me. Are French hens from France?

“Gee this is fun, and we are a part of it!”

December 13, 2010 – Barn Owl Wins California Audubon Bird of the Year

Last year was a day of celebration and a virtual parade and throwing of confetti in the minds of many MODs and Owl Box fans! If only Molly knew just how famous she is … and since the winner was the “barn owl’, McGee might have commented, “Ah Ha! Finally, a wide-lenz view to include the whole family, so that the rest of us are part of this festivus!”

I received an email yesterday that announced, “It was a tight race, with four lead changes, but the California Condor came out on top and is Audubon California Bird of the Year 2011.” A Year of Recognition for the “un”common barn owl was well deserved (Molly won, slam dunk!), but I imagine that fans are happy that another great creature will have some attention in 2011, for Variety is the Spice of Life, and Sharing is Caring!
