Molly and McGee are both in the box. This is basically something new, always in the past McGee would leave in the day time. Rarely, did we see both of them in the box during the day. We are home so were thought it would be nice to share this new Owl Box experience with loyal M.O.D.s
To get the best quality picture I have to adjust the cameras manually in the mornings and evenings as the light changes, the adjustment are too extreme for the auto-functions to work. This means if I am not around (either sleeping or not home) when the light changes you will see a dark screen or a white screen until I can change the adjustments so you don’t need to call, phone or email. I will take care of it.
We have not cancelled our travel plans but a change in scheduling is allowing us to share this unique time of Molly and McGee with you. Enjoy it while you can.
We want to thank everyone that has supported Austin; he is now a full time student a Platt College in San Diego, thanks to you. He has just completed his first week and will be moving to San Diego in two weeks. He is also working on his second Owl Box DVD project, “The World’s Most Famous Barn Owls.” This will be a completely different type of DVD about the owls with higher quality video and more shots of the owls and owlets flying around our backyard. Much of this video has never been seen before because it was not taken with the broadcast cameras. He said, he is also including some footage from the field trips.
With the first DVD, Molly’s Story he earned enough for half of his college education not including room and board. He hopes to earn the other half with his second DVD. I know, we reported that he had earned enough for three fourths of his college education but what we did not take into account was State and Federal Income Taxes. Once all the bills were paid including his TAXES his net income is enough for half. The good news is that means he has to do another video for us and to be honest I can’t wait to see it. You should be able to pre-order your copy next week.
Just in from Eric Blehm. “This Saturday is Cardiff by the Sea’s 100 year anniversary as a town… There is a parade and festivities at Glen Park off San Elijo Avenue in Cardiff by the Sea, as well as an area for Vendors. I am doing a booth as Cardiff’s Own New York Times Bestselling Author and the Publisher of Molly The Owl Books. We are offering great deals for those attending… T shirts, coffee mugs, and selected books for fifty percent off… I will be there with a few MODS signing my other books as well…” Sounds like fun and great bargains!
All the best, have a great July 4th
Carlos, Donna and Austin
