So many of you said you wanted a print of Molly with the flag background that I am making it available as a Free High Resolution 8.5X11 Download on our CafePress site. Just click on the link, look for the free stuff at the top, it will be all the way to the right, click on the link and the High Resolution print will download no questions asked, no purchase necessary. It’s Free. Print it, frame it, and share the link with your friends. It is our gift to you, your family and your friends.

Of course, if you would like to buy a T-shirt, a mug, or any of the other products it would be greatly appreciated because we are continually upgrading our equipment and trying out new ways to make The Owl Box experience better. In fact, we just added an HD camera.

Field Trip tonight will be from our backyard using the field trip camera. We hope to show you the owls flying around, if last night was not the last night for the last owlet.

Action will start around 7:45 PST, Owlets usually show up shortly after 8 PM PST

See you tonight.

Carlos, Donna and Austin

    Thank you so much Carlos
    Donna and Austin too

What a precious and beautiful gift that I will cherish always. I feel one worthy of being passed down to next generations of MODs of the future too; a real heirloom this be!

Thank you to all those who served for our freedoms. I could not imagine not being free to watch the owls on Livestream for example. Some countries would have such things blocked!

    Freedom for all…thank you

  6. Twoclubs Jane Says:

Happy Memorial Day to the Royal Family and MODS. Waving the Flag now and just finished printing the free download. I put it on heavy stock and laminated it! It looks owltrageous. Thank you, Carlos, for continuing to wet our appetites for all things MOLLY.

Can’t wait till tonight, hope it all works out for us all. Carlos, maybe you should turn a box full of mice loose in you backyard just to enhance the experience. lol

  20. knittinghiker Says:

Wow – this is beautiful – thank you so much for sharing this with us – a fine tribute on this Memorial Day!

I’ve really been enjoying the field trips but I must try to get to sleep earlier :) Work, sadly is more on a hawk’s schedule and not an owl’s…..

  21. June Schafer Says:

Why thank you! What a neat surprise. Have loaded the picture and purchased a mug and stainless drink bottle. Just have to be patient while I wait for them! Also love the new camera. Such clear pictures! Field trips have been fun too, although, being a right coaster, I usually have to prop my eyelids open!! Looking forward to tonight’s visit in your yard. Hope Squeaky is still there!

  22. Memedee251 Says:

Carlos, I have a technical question for you. Until today, I could view the Owlbox site on my iphone. Now I just get a message that “currently this video is only available in flash”. Do you know what might have changed? Thanks for everything you do!

    • carlosroyal Says:

Not sure. It may have been just for the one night because we used a flash encoder to broadcast instead of Ustream’s ProducerPro program. See if it works now, if not, I have not idea.

  23. Cathy Smith Says:

Thank You, Carlos! There would be less color in the world without you!

  24. Christine Peters Says:

Carlos, I saw McGee run Squeaky off early this morning (Monday); he made that threatening noise and chased him away. Molly was in the box at the time. I think that is why no owlets here tonight (so far anyway).

  25. PegRod Says:

All the comments above are such a joy to read!

Carlos Royal and Chris Adams once again hit a home run with this amazingly beautiful image which combines the symbol of American values with the symbol of Molly and The Owl Box values!

The new Book Trailer that “rocketman” Chris Adams premiered last night for the Carlos Royal books of photography of the clutches of Molly & McGee (Eric Blehm and Molly the Owl books) is a joy to watch, too.

Always grateful for this life-changing and life-affirming experience.
