Internet Drop Out

April 28, 2011

Hope you enjoyed the show the last two nights before the internet started dropping in and out. Our Internet service provider starts having these issues the minute the weather starts to warm up a bit and yesterday it got up close to 90 degrees here. When I got up this morning the broadcast was off the air, I did a reset, but it wasn’t long until we were off the air again due to internet drop out.

The good news is we had a great show from about 8 PM to 10 PM PST (the best time to view at night) all four owlets were out playing and testing their wings. Molly and McGee did a lot of tweeting and circling trying to get the kids to join them in the hunt. Much of that is recorded and available on  for your viewing if you missed it.

We are planning on having a Café Press Sale watch for the announcement. announced a 25% off sale yesterday.

Carlos, Donna and Austin

They were SUCH fun last night! Of course, I have missed them so much that all they had to do was stand there and I loved it.

  3. Vicki Eiden Says:

Ah the joys? of technology. Was so glad to see the young’uns from the videos. Loved when one of them slid down the roof and onto its sibling. Very funny! And the camera shaking while mom or dad tried to entice them to fly to the meal. The colors in the twilight were amazing in the background. Thanks again for bringing us the greatest show on earth!

Thanks for letting us enjoy Molly and McGee’s 3rd clutch babies… they are beautiful!!
I love being back in the box.
I hope the end of your trip to Canada was good and you had a safe uneventful trip home. I had a little smile on my face knowing you were right here in my stomping grounds. It’s a good thing I didn’t spot you both.. I would have been jumping up and down yelling .. Look, Look!! There’s Carlos and Donna!! .. he,he. Like Celebrities for goodness sake. At least in my mind & many of the MODs who love you both.
Thanks again for your updates on the blog. I look forward to reading them.
    Take care.

It is nice to see the third clutch of Molly & McGee. I did not know that it was on last night as well. I really appreciate that you taped some of the evening’s events since it is too late for me to watch.

  13. CAR Says:

Thank you for turning the camera on, Carlos, Donna and family. It is a great joy to see Molly and McGee v. 3.0! Please consider keeping it on for a while. I know it’s work, and sometimes it must be quite a bother, but it is so greatly appreciated. No matter how many other owls and other animal web cams go up, we will always want to return to our first love. Thank again, and welcome home!

  14. Laura Stailey Says:

Caught the broadcast here on the east coast from 6:30a.m. until west coast sunrise. Very active with all four owlets coming and going. Saw several food dropoffs…McGee is still doing the “fling and fly”. I even think this clutch has its own “Wesley/leigh”. While the others were in and out and on top of the owlhouse as well as flying to and from the various perches, one stayed on the porch constantly calling but not venturing away from the safety of home. Thanks so much again Carlos for broadcasting.

  15. donna Says:

Carlos, thank you so much for turning the camera on. The owlets were so funny to watch last night and what a treat to see Molly & McGee, miss them so much. My computer hasn’t been turned off for 2 days. Thank you again!

into the Magical World of Molly & McGee! We miss
them and you and the songs and each other. And for a few bright, shining nights and a day, you reminded us why we are MODS for Life!

  17. FloridaSkye Says:

Carlos, thank you so much for broadcasting The Owl Box for us last night. M & M’s fledglings are very beautiful which we could easily see with that great new outdoor camera. Thank you for being so generous with your time and talents.

  18. Nancy Sarazen Says:

Just loved seeing the babies and Molly and McGee again….also wondering when the 2nd batch of Coffee Table books will be shipped out…can’t wait to get mine! Should be soon, shouldn’t it?

  19. mandozee Says:

  20. Hi Carlos and Donna…
Thanks for letting all of us view Molly and her gang for the past two days and nights. It’s just like old times as they are so dear to our hearts! Molly and McGee will always be first on my list of owl families to watch. I just wish we had some way to chat about what is going on when watching. I was hoping that Vacadude would have open his chat up like before to keep all of us Molly fans chatting while watching them even for a little while.
Getting to watch molly’s box is such a treat and I feel like we are all together at a family
reunion. Now all we need is to hear that fun voice of yours and see that happy smile again on Ustream…we miss that so much!
    Take care!

  23. SARose69 Says:

I’m soooo enjoying this for however long it goes on!

  24. Terry flinn Says:

Can anyone say why one of the owls are laying down inside the owl box? Is the owlet hurt, ill or is this normal? I believe this is first I’ve seen any lay down???

  25. SARose69 Says:

    Dear Carlos,
Is there any chance you could make the Molly and McGee #2 photo available on a women’s tee shirt? I would be happy with either long or short sleeve!

I dearly love all my M&M shirts!

  26. SARose69 Says:

It is normal for the owlets to lie down like that. I certainly had no idea before The Owl Box Experience. We saw it a lot in the first clutch. There is a hilarious scene on the DVD “Wesley Wake Up!” You really should get the DVD, it is priceless!

  27. Holly Sue Says:

thank you Carlos, Donna and Austin for giving us another opportunity to see Molly and her 3rd clutch. There are many owl sites out there, but this one is like “Home” to me – it’s where I first fell in love with these adorable owls. I will keep my eyes open for all events concerning this website. You guys rock!!!!

  32. June Schafer Says:

Still the best looking Barn Owls around!! Last night was such fun. The owlets were having a blast on the playground—–M&M deet deeting and doing fly bys. Just like old times. This east coast watcher stayed up too late and got up too early but who cares!? Filled my Molly mug with coffee and watched McGee deliver a treat this morning.
The new camera is awesome and the positioning is great—could see them all over the yard. Carlos, you are the BEST!!

Really enjoyed the show! A nice surprise and hope to see more! Thank you so much. Will look for the cafe express sale. I broke one of my tiles and need to buy more. Thanks again Carlos and Donna

  36. Barb Polo Says:

Thank you again and again for the wonderful time of seeing the owlets of the 3rd clutch. Molly & McGee sure make beautiful baby owls and it must be inbred in them to pose for pictures. I’ve checked the other boxes and most of the time all you see is backs full of feathers, even when outside they seem to turn away from the cameras. Molly’s babies all face the camera inside the box or outside on the ledge and playground. BTW: the best almond croissants are in Venice, Italy at the Bauer Hotel on the Grand Canal.
    Love ya to bits, Barb

  37. owloverbo Says:
