Molly is Watching
September 4, 2010
Molly is watching her owlets very closely and has been making sure they know how to eat the treats brought in. This was very clear last night as she moved treats around inside the box with the owlets in tow.
We expect it to be a hot one today and may turn on the mister. No, the mister has not sagged due to birds sitting on it. I just turned the ladder and that changed the camera angle so it looks like the mister has dropped down but actually it moved to the backside of the owl box. I plan to turn the ladder back this morning, which will reposition the mister back over the center of the owl box. Owlets continue to get plenty of food and are growing with leaps and bounds.
As of yesterday morning all DVD orders were mailed first class mail. Austin has received 1,949 orders, it takes approximately 1,000 orders to pay for a year of College. Funds from DVD sale go to Austin’s College Fund. We want to thank you for supporting this project.
Free Wall Paper is available at our CafePress Store. You can also download Free Molly Business Cards and MOD Certificate. Gee, isn’t this fun and I was part of it.
Molly and McGee, Photography by Carlos Royal is available for pre-order Molly The Owl Books.
Have a great weekend, put out your Molly Watcher and Vote Molly signs and send us a picture.

Congrats on the 1st all-important Car Austin :D
Stick shift = better mastery of the auto, you become one with its drivability..
clutch engaged sparingly – never during a stop light – expensive to replace.
(fun stuff = double clutch down, and up shift;) but not Too often. <grandfather will teach with a mile-wide smile :D

Austin, just received your DVD as a gift and am so impressed and thrilled watching it. WOW! Who’d have thunk a barn owl would pay your college tuition>not to mention how many hours that took to complete? Congratulations on a job well done!
Carlos, any idea who the visiting owl was late last night that Molly kept chasing off? She was kind of small…it is possibly that Wesley wants to “come back home” for freebies? Who do you think it was?
Happy Holiday!

Hi Carlos, Donna and Austin, great pics of Molly. Is there a chance we could get a peek at all the houses with Molly signs? I had to take mine down today because of 30 mph winds! Congrats Austin on your license & new car…what a week! Thanks again all for providing us with such a lovely experience…it is so much fun and I am part of it!

Carlos, for some reason I have not been able to get the owl box for two days. No sound, no picture and no chat. I thought it was everyone but my parents see it fine. Do you have any idea what I can do? Refreshing does not help. It has always been fine…….until yesterday…….
Thanks!

Dear Donna & Carlos… THANK YOU for sharing Molly and family and your lives with the world!

Carlos, thanks for the wall paper, however Feather 1024×768 and 800×600 link to Molly 1024×768 and 800×600.
A common screen resolution for notebook/laptop widescreen displays is 1366×768. I for one would appreciate wall paper of that size so I don’t have to over crop or distort your excellent photos.
Thanks, from a very long-time lerker of clutch 1 egg and owlette stage.

Still more pictures that are beautiful, I esp. like Molly ruffling… again, good timing. She is a pretty bird. I was at a pet store when they had a cockatiel out, was able to pet her head and back as well as rub her underside… was great, I can just imagine how soft and plump MsMolly is under all those feathers.
Again, thank you both and have a Wonderful Long Weekend.

Hi Carlos, a question just occurred to me…do the owls throw stuff out of the box into your yard??
September 5, 2010 at 10:26 am
Carlos thank you for the beautiful pics of Molly at night. We all miss seeing her during the day as the life cycle begins to change for the owletes and their need to learning independence. She’s a beauty as we all know in all ways inside and out with that maternal instinct that thrives at her Royal owlbox! I just ordered my M&M photo book and now instead of a countdown to Christmas, it’s a countdown to January for that special book gift of Molly and McGee! Christmas is always in my heart and from you and your familiy’s generosity to the world, it certainly appears that you all have Christmas in your hearts as well each and everday! Love, hugs and prayers always, “OwlLuver” Murrieta, CA

Carlos,Your photoes are completely wonderous.I really believe that the DVD can be sold in stores and perhaps next year’s catalogues,,,,,,
I cannot for the life of me understand how to sign up for pay pal. Many other older adults have the same problem understanding Pay Pal…can you set up just a credit card payment and I know your sales will soar just like our Beloved Molly.
Blesings to you all,you are serving so many, many people who really appreciate all you do…
